About Us
We believe that Scripture is inspired by God, infallible and sufficient for us as Believers. Thus, it is the ultimate authority in what we practice and believe.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Through reading and studying Scripture we can draw near to the Lord and live in obedience with His word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Worshiping the Lord is not for the experience but to express reverence and adoration to the one true living God because He is worthy to be praised.
I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever; with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 89:1
“Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day.”
1 Chronicles 16:23
Partaking in Communion every Sunday keeps us in a continual state of acknowledgment and remembrance of the Lord’s sacrifice.
“This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
1 Corinthians 11:24-26
Jesus’ sacrifice has allowed us to have direct access to the Father, through prayer we can seek the Lord and rest assured that He will hear our prayers and answer them according to His will. Prayer is the language of our faith and it draws us near to Christ.
“…praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,”
Ephesians 6:18
The purpose of the Church is to glorify Christ. We are not confined to certain spaces, rather, wherever there are Believers and Followers of Christ, there is the Church. Gathering with fellow Believers is essential to our faith because it allows opportunities to encourage one another in our walk with Christ and it unifies the Body.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:24-25
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus…”
Acts 5: 42
Giving unto the Lord should be done freely, generously and cheerfully.
“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.”
2 Corinthians 9: 6-12
