Marcus Gonzalez
Senior Pastor
Pastor Marcus Gonzalez is originally from Queens, New York where he served as an Associate Pastor for 8 years. He and his late wife, Lisette Gonzalez, were married in 1991 and moved to Florida a few years after. In Miami, Pastor Marcus served as an Associate Pastor for 20 years where he and Lisette engaged in community outreach, marriage counseling, spiritual mentorship, youth/children’s ministry and worship leadership.
After serving under pastoral leadership for almost 30 years, the Lord placed it on Pastor Marcus’ heart to start a church of his own. Good Life Church began at home. Weekly gatherings at the Gonzalez home were filled with prayer, worship, reading Scripture, encouragement, laughter and sometimes tears: “Early in the planning and praying stages of GLC we often spoke about starting our church off of the miracle healing that we believed God was going to provide for Lisette. We know God healed her, just not in the way we had prayed. It devastated us. But the process of mourning and hurting so deeply caused us to draw closer to God and he gave us a new hunger and love for His word. We dedicated our gatherings to worship, prayer and the reading of Scripture. It was during those times that God now healed us, built our character and gave us hope.” (Romans 5:2-5) Good Life Church held its first Sunday service in mid October at home and began meeting in a rented space in October of 2020.

Kilton Janvier
Associate Pastor
Associate Pastor Kilton Janvier: Pastor Kilton is the Associate Pastor at Good Life Church. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministerial Leadership and he has served the Miami community for over six years. Pastor Kilton and his wife Yvesanniah have been married since January of 2023 and they both have a heart for seeing all generations come to know Christ.

Ileana Cafiero
Deacon
Ileana was born in Cuba and was raised in Queens New York. While living in New York, she served in ministry for over 8 years and continued to serve in different ministries after moving to Florida 12 years ago. Ileana has a heart to see God’s people flourish and this is exhibited through her love for people, Christ, and the Church. Her leadership is multifaceted and encompasses the physical, logistical, and spiritual foundations of our church. She and her husband Joey, are faithful servants of the Lord and our church.
“The righteous will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.”

Robert L. Federhofer
Elder
Robert serves as our Elder. He is also our in-house Bible Study teacher. His love, wisdom, and revelation of Scripture edifies our church and encourages the body of Christ to deepen our study of Scripture. He and his wife Selena have been married for 31 years and have two wonderful children.
